HEARTSTRINGS
THE SIMPLE TRUTH

Heatrstrings

The simple truth about heartstrings is that no one is an expert and I promise I’ll never claim to be more than I am. I can honestly say I am forever a dreamer that believes in the magic of positive love when one individual or group is willing to offer that gift unconditionally to another. I recognize love when even in an ending of a relationship, there is no anger or need for revenge toward the other, only the warmth of a gentle smile glowing in the heart forever and always in the midst of heartache. I believe the exploration of the heart is a spiritual journey and an awakening into our true self-discovery. Only then can we feel truly complete. The heart’s journey, should ever to be taken lightly and it is one we have an obligation to pursue with all the passion hiding within us.

Communication For The Ages

I have never studied in any specific area of behavior or philosophy. I am a woman experienced with the paradox in passions regarding love through both pain and pleasure, which occur naturally because we chance loving someone. The gift of poetry found me in my forty-something years because of personal responsibilities that challenge my every day existence. I am still learning to never take fore-granted the beauty in all the feelings that surround us even if for the moment the purpose is not fully understood.

I believe there are more complicated definitions of love than we, as mere human beings, can ever identify or comprehend. We attempt to place love into well-organized categories such as the love of family, friendship, or romance. Although there are basic connections and similarities that belong with each, there are also distinctive ingredients, which randomly re-create and separate these love categories to design our own unique path into love’s journey. We must learn to face the fears associated with any expression of our heart and attempt to recognize those feelings so we can enable ourselves to move forward. Only then can we fully experience the ultimate magic when the connection of two hearts directed by destiny is fulfilled.

Take this moment to close your eyes, draw in a deep breath and lightly caress your cheek. Recognize this as the touch of friendship. Even though I am unknown except for the sharing of these written words, I am certain you can feel the positive energy I am extending to you from my heart. I know we are all capable of such expression. We have the power to share this energy throughout our international community. Let us see how much healing we can accomplish through an outpouring of this natural ability.

Hopefully with time and help from those who respond to this new awareness challenge, we will become confident in the power that resides within us. We will share and learn what the gift of love is capable of, and together we will grow through teaching and sharing this positive attitude with the world. We must take every opportunity and moment to close our eyes and breathe. Our soul shall be our guide. What a difference we will make, one heartstring at a time.

YOU’VE HEARD IT SAID

So many times,
“It’s only love.”
Isn’t it strange?
The smallest words,
Have so much power.
At times they create in us fear,
And even confusion,
Or make us feel the greatest joy,
Or,
So lonely.

When we think with our hearts,
We tend to go astray,
Veer from the forward path.
We even question fate.

We need love.

At times we need love more,
Than our own reality has to offer.

I know love is the greatest gift.
The greatest gift,
With the greatest price.
Love can cause the greatest pain.

The search for love can consume our very being.
There is always a hunger to find it out there.
We are starving.
We risk everything in our lives,
Just to experience the danger.
Take one more chance that it might be real,
This time.

We know our hearts are strong,
Because they get broken every day.
My heart must be the strongest of all.

I think there is love in my life.
I feel it.
Or do I need it so much, That I need to feel it?

We hear the word love often.
Is there proof it even exists?
Sometimes it is said too much.
I question the meaning.

Just the word.
“Love.”
Saying it to myself,
Creates a stirring within my soul.
That stirring,
I want it.
I need it.
I pray never to lose it.
