In the silence of the lonesome night;
My body exhausted - feeling so tight;
Yet my mind is free - feeling so might;
Wondering in the vastness of every height.
In the vast sea of thought;
There's a feeling profound I've got;
A thought - the only kind of the sort.
I gaze - and see in my mind a sight;
Of a fairness - a charm so bright;
More than the moon and the stars in the night.
My memory fresh as the morning dew;
Of none, but a vivid thought of you.

This poem is part of a collection of my early poetry composition called "Revelation of Emotions," written during my student days. At that point of time I was 17 years of age. It reflects the feelings, thoughts, political consciousness and romanticism of that era of my life.
