3rd October 2003 - 5th Anniversary of Patrick's Universe

Before the turn of the century, five years ago, on the 3rd of October, 1998 marks the humble historical beginning of Patrick's Universe.

The 3rd of October 2003 is the 5th Anniversary of Patrick's Universe in the World Wide Web. Having drawn the visits of millions of web surfers to our universe of love, having gone through the trials and tribulations of time, we are here to stay and thrive in the universe of love in the World Wide Web.

Patrick's Universe is a place of love - an avenue created to allow the free expression of love and talents for the individual. It has touched the hearts of many a soul and to some extent has made the difference to forever change the lives of many of our beloved brothers- and sisters-in-love. Some walked into our paths and stayed with us by helping others along the way, while others stayed for a while and moved on to venture into other avenues in searched for greater heights to self-actualisation.

We salute all the souls who have shared their love with all of us in Patrick's Universe and have contributed and enhanced the meaning to our mission of love. We are forever greatful to you, and we love you with all our hearts.

1st January 2003 - Interruption of Service of Patrick's Universe

Since the inception of Patrick's Universe on 3rd October 1998, our site was hosted at Angelfire at http://www.angelfire.com/vt/ConquerorPat/index.html, a web-hosting portal.

The original Angelfire was a great portal until its acquisition by Lycos. Without due regard and consideration to the our long standing relationship that has brought millions of visitors to our site, thus giving Angelfire the traffic for the enhancement their advertising revenue, our site was removed without due notice. Notwithstanding, we were not informed of the removal and therefore did not have the warning to back up our files. We have lost most of our archived MIDI files, artwork, images and webpages.

In an instant we have lost most of our 5 labourious years of work building our site for you.

This is the moral of commercialisation and profiteering without due regard to loyalty and responsibility. Lycos have their rights as they have set the terms of service, without giving recourse to those who supported their site since its early days.

We have since transferred to our new domain address at http://www.patricksuniverse.com where our site is hosted. We will be reconstructing all the webpages from scratch. Please have the patience, it will take some months in the reconstruction and recreation of our various sites in Patrick's Universe.
